Short Dress
All little girls imagine a fantasy ball when they think of what their future prom might be like. All of the lovely girls will be dressed in beautiful gowns and dance with charming boys to the mellow sounds of a large band, much like one that would have played at Cinderella's ball. As we know all little girls must grow up sometime, and this means that their ideas and dreams will grow up a bit too. When a girl enters high school she realizes that not all boys are charming, and that the fantasy ball they all envisioned has become a bit modernized too. Some schools do not hire big bands to play classical ballads anymore, but hire DJs or new age rock bands. In some areas, there is an ever growing popularity with hip hop being played at prom too. So let me just ask you, how do you expect to get down to Ludicrous and Fergie wearing a dress so big that it barely fit into the limo you rolled up in? I mean let's be serious, it's a new time, with new music, and definitely new fashion! This is why I recommend that this prom season you consider showing a little leg with a comfortable and sexy short dress. Depending on where you live too, some of us here in the south will agree that comfort and mobility aren't the only reason to consider a shorter dress, because in the Spring/Summer it's just plain hot! Especially if you have a shorter physical build; a short cocktail style is a must. A couple of my favorites are the a)Jovani style b10835165 and the b)Terani style 45144. The Jovani style b10835165 is also very flattering to body types with large hips and thighs. Finish the look by adding some sparkle to your tootsies with a pair of open high heeled shoes/sandals like our c)Hilary by Alisha Hill prom shoes in silver for example. The heel will give the illusion of extra length in your legs. Now you will be ready to dance the night away without you or your date tripping all over your dress. A shorter dress is bound to leave an impression because it's fun, festive, and super hot (all while keeping you cool).
