How do I shop online?

To start shopping, click on "shop" from the homepage or at the top of any other page on the site.

Click on a small thumbnail photo of a dress, and you’ll be taken to a style description page where you’ll see a large photo.

Choose your color and size, and click the "Add to cart" button. (If the style you selected is currently out of stock (backorder), you will be promptly notified and not charged. You may still order the dress, but please check with us to advise you of the next delivery date for your dress at sales@bestpromdresses.com.) you will then be taken to "Your Shopping Bag"

Your shopping bag is where you keep your selections until you’re ready to check out. To remove an item from your bag, check the item you want to remove and click the "Update" button. At any time, you may empty your shopping bag. If you want to add another item to your shopping bag, click the "Continue Shopping" button and you’ll be taken back to the "Shop" page.

When you’re ready to buy, click "Buy Now" or "Checkout" button. You will be taken to "Your Personal Info", a secure page where you will enter your personal information and credit card number. You will also see the contents of your shopping bag and the price of your purchase. You may modify your personal info at any time before proceeding. You must read and accept our Purchase Agreement before you can confirm your order. If all the information is correct, click on the "Checkout" button.  After filling in your info and credit card number, click on the "Checkout" button again.

Congratulations, you have completed the shopping process. Your purchase will be confirmed by email shortly. It's that easy.

What happens when I place an order online?

If you provided a valid e-mail address during the registration process, you will receive an e-mail message shortly after you make a purchase, confirming your online order, shipment method, and the total amount to be charged to your credit card.

How do I see what’s in my shopping cart?

At any time, you may click on "view order" at the top of every page. Then, you may choose either "proceed to check-out" or "continue shopping".

 

How do I know what size to order?

To assist you in ordering the correct size, we have included a size charts on our site as well as measuring instructions. If your measurements fall in-between two sizes, we suggest that you choose the larger size, and have your own seamstress alter it according to your specific body measurements. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept Paypal.

Is it safe to order online?

Providing a secure environment for your order information is our top priority. Your credit card information is safe with us. Taking advantage of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, bestpromdresses.com ensures the security of your online transaction. SSL technology is the industry standard for encryption, and ensures a secure transaction environment for commerce on the Internet. Both Netscape and Internet Explorer indicate when you are connected to a secure server. What about returns and exchanges?

In order to exchange you must email us at sales@bestpromdresses.com within 7 days of the dress being delivered to you.  Please try the dress on when it arrives to ensure you have the size you want.

Due to the nature of the product and time of year Bestpromdresses.com Does Not Accept Returns on dresses or shoes and cannot guarantee availability for exchanges. We will exchange for the same style in a different size or color when available. Please note that during the month of May exchanges can take up to 2 weeks.

In the event that you find fault in the craftsmanship of the gown you must contact us within 3 days of the dress being delivered to your address. Damaged gowns will only be replaced or exchanged.

No packages shipped back to BestPromDresses will be accepted without an Exchange Authorization number that you can get from us through email request. This number must be clearly visible on the outside of the box.

 

What are your shipping rates?

Standard Shipping is FREE (6-9 days) anywhere in the continental United States. You may upgrade your shipping option to one the following: UPS Next Day Air $50.00; UPS 2nd Day $25, UPS 3 Day select $15, and UPS Next Day/Saturday $70. You may check the status of your order at customer service

For International Shipping, $75 and up is charged for standard shipping. Shipping time is 1-3 weeks from ship date plus and average of 1-3 days in local customs. We have no information or control of customs in non US countries. They may or may not add a tax to your order when it arrives.

 

Do you ship everywhere in the world?

When you place an International Order ( shipping to countries other than USA or Canada) we will then automatically add $75.00 US for shipping via UPS or slightly more for some farther locations.  You will be responsible to pay for any taxes or custom duties payable in your own country when your dress arrives there. International orders will be shipped UPS and may take 1-3 weeks to get to you depending on your location.

 

How long will it take to get my order?

Most of the time, the dress you select will be available within 24 hours (In Stock / not including weekends). However, in the event that the size or color you select is temporarily sold out (Back Ordered) we will get it in and deliver it to you as soon as possible. In order to offer you all the options possible we leave dresses available for purchase even when it is sold out since we will likely be getting more shortly and most individuals are ordering in advance of their big event. That is the reason for the "Wear Date" field during checkout. If you tell us your wear date and we cannot get you the dress in advance of that date then we will contact you right away. If you really need a dress fast and want to be sure it will arrive, then please call ahead to make sure it is available (this would be wise for same week delivery). How quickly you receive your order also depends on the shipping method that you select at the time of purchase and the destination. For continental US and Canada our default shipping method is UPS ground and usually take 3-5 days from ship date to arrive.
